THE FESTIVAL 2027

This year’s Festival dates are 6^th, 7^th, 12^th, 13^th, and 14^th March. The Celebration of Music Concert will be held on Wednesday 28^th April 2027 at 7pm at Outwood Academy Portland, Worksop.

PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE

Saturday, March 6^th              –           Woodwind / Brass / Strings Day

Sunday, March 7^th                 –           Piano / Strings Day

Friday, March 12^th                   –         Schools’ Day

(possible vocal and percussion in the evening)

Saturday, March 13^th             –          Vocal Day

Sunday, March 14^th               –           Vocal Day

(younger age group classes and the vocal championship classes)

We will endeavour to schedule classes according to the above provisional timetable. However, due to the number of class entries received brass, two skills and strings may be scheduled during the evenings of the above days. It may also be necessary to place classes not on their provisional day.

The Closing Date for entries is Friday 22^nd  January 2026; details of trophy returns may be found in the syllabus

If the Festival Accompanist is used, can the music for the accompanist please be sent to the Entries Secretary by Monday 8^th February 2027. Details for where to send music may be found in the syllabus.

Adjudicator for March 6th / March 7th 2027 is Nadia Hinson GRSM(Hons), LRAM, LTCL.

Adjudicator for March 12th / March 13th / March 14th 2027 is Steven Roberts MEd, Ba(Hons), CertEd, BBCM, CMS, FRSA.
