THE FESTIVAL 2026

This year’s Festival dates are 7^th, 8^th, 9^th, 14^th and 15^th  March 2026. The Celebration of Music Concert will be held on Wednesday April 29^th 2025 at 7pm at The Crossing, Worksop.

PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE

Saturday, March 7^th              –           Woodwind / Brass / Strings Day

Sunday, March 8^th                 –           Piano / Strings Day

Friday, March 13^th                   –         Schools’ Day

(possible vocal and percussion in the evening)

Saturday, March 14^th             –          Vocal Day

Sunday, March 15^th               –           Vocal Day

(younger age group classes and the vocal championship classes)

We will endeavour to schedule classes according to the above provisional timetable. However, due to the number of class entries received brass, two skills and strings may be scheduled during the evenings of the above days. It may also be necessary to place classes not on their provisional day.

The Closing Date for entries is Friday 23^th  January 2026; details of trophy returns may be found in the syllabus

If the Festival Accompanist is used, can the music for the accompanist please be sent to the Entries Secretary by Monday 9^th February 2026. Details for where to send music may be found in the syllabus.

Adjudicator for March 7th / March 8th 2026 is Nancy Litten.
